A Fast and Fun Improv Warm Up Game for Two to Five or More Players

Set-Up: You are all Wizards! Wielders of Thaumaturgical Forces! Wise Titans of Foreboding! None may stop you from Working your Terrifying Feats! - except Maisie the barmaid who is being quite firm that the bar is closing and it’s Well past Time to F--- off. But as you are all gathering up your Witcheries, Tokens, and Fripperies, you discover a strange object under the table, Warming your Thaumaturigal Faculties. It is identified only with the engraved letters “W.T.F.” 

You immediately know you must have this Wondrous Thing of Fantastic power for your own - but first you must convince your Wary, misTrusting Fellows that this object belongs to you!

Game-Play: Each quick-thinking wizard must convince his or her colleagues that the mysterious object belongs to them by making up a plausible explanation of What the Object Is, What the Object Does, and Why the Object is Engraved with the Letters W.T.F. Players will select which Wizard’s Turn is First and go in a circle from there. Upon each wizard’s turn, they must explain  What the Object Is, What it Does, and Why the Object is Engraved with the Letters W.T.F. 

For example: “Gadzooks! That’s my enchanted orb of heavy metal border creation. I use it for Welding Titanium Fences.” The next wizard cannot let this terrible lie stand and must jump in with their own explanation: “Egad! That’s my ring that summons any bird I want. I call it the Wishing Thing of Feathers.” And so on around the circle. Every time a player has a new turn, they should consider themselves to be a different wizard and provide a different explanation.

If a wizard fails to produce a convincing explanation promptly, or if they repeat a usage of another wizard’s word in the acronym, then that player is out of the game. Keep going around the circle until only one Wizard Triumphs Finally and claims the powerful artifact for themselves.
